During WWII, the Nazi’s confiscated and stole Jewish property and money. A recent study from the German finance ministry puts the figure at 120 billion Reichsmarks. Any money received today from the Germans is in effect money rightfully returned to their owners.
After the war, many survivors wouldn’t use German products, surely not except any money from Germany believing that to be the ethical approach ensuring that nothing would diminish the loss and pain inflicted by the Nazi’s.
With each passing day, survivors are getting older and their financial situation tougher. Many survivors who in the past wouldn’t think of applying for social benefits are reaching out for assistance now.
Important things to know about 'Claim Right':
Our team, made up of Holocaust survivor’s descendants, treat our work as a moral obligation to help survivors. Although the German government will often make it difficult to claim, we look for ways to make the process as easy as possible for you. You can be assured that your claim will be handled with utmost care and sensitivity.
We have close contact with officials in the German government and are constantly updated with changing laws and requirements.
We ensure that all benefits are procured legally and accurately and will not interfere with other government aid.
We will do a pre-check for eligibility. If your claim has a chance for success, we will do everything possible to ensure you get results in as quickly as six months.
